3rd graders improved their problem solving ability, strategic thinking, and sense of two-dimensional space while having fun with Pentominoes.

4th 5th and 6th graders worked diligently on contest #2 for the world wide Math Olympiads contest!

Candy Cane Calamity

4th graders completed a STEM activity. They had to design and build a package to protect two candy canes from breaking when dropped from 7 feet. The materials they had to work with were 4 cotton balls, 4 straws, 2 rubberbands, 2 pipe cleaners, 2 Dixie cups, and 12 inches of tape. There were 3 groups that saved their candy canes from breaking!

AT math took their first test!

Today the students in AT math took their first test.  They were nervous and couldn't even finish the test in our 1 hour 15 minute time period!  They are such diligent workers as you can see from the picture.
